About this tool
Turn an XLS, XLSX or CSV spreadsheet into a fixed, print-ready document, automatically fitted to the page width. It is perfect for sharing invoices, price lists or reports with people who do not need — or should not be able — to change the figures.
How to use it
- Choose your XLS or XLSX file.
- Run the converter.
- Download the result.
Why convert a spreadsheet?
- Figures stay put – no accidental edits to formulas or totals.
- Opens anywhere – no spreadsheet software needed to view it.
- Prints cleanly – columns are fitted to the page width so tables are easy to read.
- Professional to send – a finished document instead of a working file.
Common uses
Invoices and quotations, financial summaries, timetables, stock and price lists, attendance sheets, grade reports and project budgets.
Prepare your sheet for a neat result
- Set the print area and orientation in Excel first — wide tables usually look best in landscape.
- Hide helper columns you do not want to share.
- Check that long tables break across sheets where you expect.
Supported formats
Modern .xlsx, older .xls and plain .csv files are accepted. Macros and interactive features are not carried over, because the output is a static document.
Privacy
Your spreadsheet is used only to create the download and is deleted from our server shortly afterwards.
A worked example
A small business owner keeps invoices in a spreadsheet. Before sending, she sets the print area to the invoice range, switches to portrait, and converts. The customer receives a clean, single-sheet invoice instead of a workbook full of hidden formulas.
Set up the sheet first
- Select the cells you want and choose Page Layout → Print Area → Set Print Area.
- Pick portrait or landscape and use "Fit to 1 page wide" for wide tables.
- Add repeating header rows for long tables (Page Layout → Print Titles).
- Hide helper columns and sheets you do not want to share.
Multiple sheets
Workbooks with several tabs can produce one sheet of output per tab. Delete or hide tabs you do not need before uploading to keep the result focused.
Troubleshooting
- Columns cut off: switch to landscape or use fit-to-width scaling.
- #### in cells: widen the column in Excel so the numbers fit.
- Gridlines missing: add cell borders, since gridlines are not printed by default.
